Kitchen Fire in Pleasant Valley, NY

The fire in this Pleasant Valley, NY home was result of a stove top fire.  You can see from the first photo just how badly the fire burned the ceiling and cabinets.  SERVPRO of NW and SE Dutchess County was called out on site and began the remediation process immediately by placing equipment.  In the second photo you can see how due to the extensive smoke damage caused by the fire, we needed to remove the carpeting in the adjacent living room and were able to clean the affected kitchen ceiling.  The homeowner was so pleased that we were able to make this traumatic experience as painless as possible.
